Most of the Micron products are dispatched to U.K. addresses via 1st Class
Recorded Post with a flat
fee of £3.60 (£3.00 +VAT).
The exceptions are items which are exceptionally bulky or heavy (e.g.
aircraft kits).
In this case, each item has an individual postage cost which accumulates
as you add more such items to the shopping cart. In the event that the
actual postage cost is less than shown in your checkout total, the excess
will be refunded via PayPal.
Shipping outside the U.K.
The simple Paypal shopping cart cannot handle different shipping costs for
destinations outside the U.K.,
so the standard UK charge of £3.60 (£3.00 +VAT)
is applied automatically.
Customers from the EC or other countries are requested to click
the button below to add the appropriate shipping adjustment. Your order will
be sent either via 'signed for' airmail or Airsure, depending on the
destination country.
We always refund in the case where too much postage has been paid.
The £5.50 (£4.58 +VAT) supplement is valid only for small packages.
Heavy packages (e.g. large model kits and motors) will cost
more to send
via 'signed for' airmail.
Also, large packages and model kit boxes often exceed
the maximum dimensions for
airmail postage and can cost considerably more to ship via
the International Parcel service, FedEx or DHL.
Standard airmail provides only £41 compensation in the event
that the postal service loses or damages your order.
You may wish to avoid the risk and pay for additional insurance cover.
In the event that the shopping cart postage charge is insufficient
to send your order via an appropiate service, we
will contact you with a specific cost for shipping.

Additional shipping charge for 'signed for' airmail:
£ 5.50
If your international order has a value of more than £41 you are advised
to click the button below to add insurance.
This costs £3.00 (£2.50 +VAT) and covers up to £500.
Additional charge for insurance on internatioanl orders:
£ 3.00
Customers outside the EC do not have to pay the VAT and this not be
added at checkout if your destination address is in a country for
which VAT is not payable.
