A lightweight 3A 1 cell ESC manufactured by XQ Control and sold under various brand names. The dimensions are 13x11x5mm and the ESC weighs 0.7g bare or 1.15g with connectors.

The ESC is programmable via the throttle stick for: brake on/off; timing advance; soft start; LVC cutoff threshold and behaviour (reduce power or stop motor). Download the user manual.

Also available with battery and signal leads weighing 1.45g.

The latest release of firmware for the XP-3A works well with the ESC output on the AR6400.

XP-3A with Falcon IDC and lightweight battery connectors

Please select the type of signal lead/connector and power lead/connector you require from the menu below. The XP-3A in standard form is supplied with 3 pin connectors for signal/power input and motor output. If a signal lead option is specified, the input connector is removed (to save weight) and the leads soldered directly to the ESC circuit board. The optional JST-ZH, Falcon and AR6400 signal leads are approximately 100mm long. Please call or email if an option matching your connector or lead length requirement is not in the list below. Lightended XP-7A with Falcon IDC Connector

The XP-7A is available in lightened form with power and signal leads of your choice. The optional JST-ZH, Falcon and AR6400 signal leads are approximately 100mm long. Please call or email if an option matching your connector or lead length requirement is not in the list below. The AR6400 signal lead version is available in two forms: straight through for 1S operation; and with a diode on the +ve lead for 2S operation. The latter drops the ESC's 5V BEC output to 4.3V for the AR6400.
