Enter the world of micro / indoor flight with conventional R/C gear. The affordable, RC system used in Stevens Aero kits is easily transported to more advanced models, micro and parkfliers, as your skills develop. Stevens AeroModel offers indoor/backyard pylon and aerobatic models that make extensive use of the common flight pack so you won't have to purchase your electronics all over again when you are ready to move on.

Beginners will appreciate these affordable designs, simple single surface wing, low parts count, and self jigging fuselage that builds straight every time. The gentle handling models will not spin and stalls are always clean, predictable, and straight ahead. Slow speed, wide flight envelope, and forgiving handling keeps the new pilot from trouble and the low mass, durable, all balsa construction makes encounters with the ground a non-event. Should you find your model requires repair; damage is easily fixed at the field in seconds with thin CA glue.

Stevens Aero DiddleBug

The DiddleBug was designed to introduce Bill Steven's 5 year old son to building and flying R/C models and, regardless of your age, makes an exceptional model for developing building and flying skills. The DiddleBug provides the new hobbyist with a gently introduction to working with balsa, covering, and control setup.

Advanced pilots will enjoy relaxing low and close in flying encounters with their DiddleBug. The DiddleBug's retro old-timer design echoes fond memories of childhood free flight models. The clean lines, small size, and flight characteristics will garner all sorts of attention wherever you and your Bug go!

White Sport Monoplane

This model is for those of you who love the go anywhere versatility and simplicity of the DiddleBug design but yearn for a scale classic. Featured here is a 1:12 scale laser cut model of George D. White's 1919 Sport Monoplane.

White intended for his Sport Monoplane to be powered by a 12-20hp Harley-Davison motor or similar. White's monoplane sold for $365.00 to golden age home builders and built to 22'0" span, 14'0" length with a gross wt of 200 lbs.

Constructed of hand sorted balsa and precision cut on state of the art laser cutting equipment, the model builds to 1/12 the size of White's original and is as true to scale as was possible given the limited information available on the subject. Simplicity in construction abounds yet there is no sacrifice on important scale details such as, durrable spoked wheels with period proper rubber, full flying rudder, scale wing with under cambered airfoil, functional carbon fiber wing struts, and lets not forget George's "neat" undercarriage! The kit is powered with the GWS-LPS-B2C-CS motor system and will accept ALL of your present DiddleBug electronics. We are positive you'll get many looks at your next indoor fly-in with this charming classic.

The 1919 White Monoplane is suitably sized to fly in a full court gymnasium or outdoors in zero-5mph wind conditions.
