The Molt Models Tyro is the ideal park-flyer trainer, designed with a classic look; reminiscent of the glow-engine powered trainers most are familiar with. Tyro's flexible design allows for a wide variety of power systems, radio gear, and even cameras for aerial photography. This means Tyro can be built to suit almost any type of flying, from smooth scale take-offs and realistic looking manoeuvers, to extreme-vertical crowd pleasers!

Ready to fly weight ranges from 12.0 - 14.5 oz and a wing area of 248 sq. in., provide extremely light wing loadings of 7.0 - 8.4. This means you have a trainer that will fly at crawl like speeds, giving a novice flyer time to relax and think while flying. Some might worry Tyro's low flying weight means it is not a robust airframe. This could not be any further from the truth, as Tyro utilizes a completely interlocking box fuselage design. The wing is also quite strong, as it consists of an interlocking "I-beam" spar, trailing edge, and leading edge. These features enhance crash survivability and get you back out and flying as soon as possible.

The Tyro150 is the ideal large park-flyer trainer, designed with a classic look; reminiscent of the glow-engine powered trainers most are familiar with. Tyro150's large fuselage and 54 inch wingspan allows for a wide variety of power systems, radio gear, and even cameras for aerial photography. The Tyro150 contains all the capabilities associated with the typical .40 sized glow powered trainer, but includes the simplicity of electric flight and a much lower wing loading.

Its large 54" wingspan makes it easy to see, the light wing loading lets it fly slowly, and tricycle landing gear helps make landings easier, while still being a lot of fun for the experienced pilot.

All laser cut balsa and plywood make it super easy and fast to assemble.

The P-38 is a twin motor, GWS IPS S1 powered parkflyer designed by Mike Molt. While the construction is not suited for your first balsa build, the laser cut, interlocking parts make assembling this kit straightforward.

The kit comes with everything you need to complete the airframe including Sullivan pushrods, DuBro wheels, and micro servo connectors. You will need Solite covering or an equivalent lightweight covering.

To fly your P-38, you will need two GWS IPS-S1 motors (with three-blade propellers), three submicro servos (Supertec Picos recommended), an ESC rated for at least 10 amps, and a micro receiver with at least four channels. Alternative brushless power uses a 12mm inrunner motor with a S1 gearbox.

The Laser Arts P-51 Mustang electric park flyer was designed from the ground up in 3D CAD to be a Scale, Lightweight, Great Flying, Parkflyer. Interlocking laser cut balsa and plywood parts make for a fast and accurate build

This model has been flown in winds of 20+ MPH! It is more relaxing to fly in calmer winds though. Flying the model is a pleasure, and the plane has excellent low speed characteristics while still having a good upper end speed range as well. Being a parkflyer, you can really slow it down to "loiter" in the area! Powered by a brushed or brushless system, the model performs VERY well, handling any basic aerobatic maneuver and some that the real thing couldn't do! Throw in a brushless system and really watch it perform! HUGE loops, vertical performance, and high speed passes look, and sound, great! We highly reccomend a brushless setup for this plane to really bring out the Mustang!

The plane was deisnged for retracts from the start, though it does come with fixed gear. Changing from fixed to retractable gear and back again is super easy and does not require any modification to the airframe.

The Mountain Models J-3 Cub was CAD designed to be a lightweight, super easy to fly, laser-cut, scale electric parkflyer. Interlocking laser-cut balsa and plywood parts make assembling the models as easy and as fast as possible. The most complete hardware set you've ever wanted is included so the only things you have to add are covering + decals, power system, and radio.

Designed in the thin air at 6000 feet, the cub flies beautifully and has plenty of flying power on a simple 80 watt brushless outrunner. The plane in the pictures weighs a paultry 14.2 ounces ready to fly! (Yes, that does includes everything, even a 2S1200 mAh LiPo) It is still plenty durable and the structure was not compromised to hit this weight.
