A versatile tube mount that can accept a wide range of motors. Available in two versions with 8mm and 10mm tubes.

At one end of the tube is a clamp that is tightened by a screw - this will grip the bearing tube of most CD-ROM style motors. A removable plate which fits into the clamp part of the tube allows radially mounted motors to be fixed.

8mm: the outside diameter of the tube is 10mm & the inside diameter is 8mm. The removable mounting plate is 24mm diameter and is pre-drilled to accept many types of motor - most will fit straight on with no modification.

10mm: the outside diameter of the tube is 12mm & the inside diameter is 10mm. The 44mm diameter mounting plate mount has concentric circles marked on it making it easier for you to drill your holes in the correct location.

This high quality plywood CNC cut mount is designed to adapt radially mounted outrunners to the GWS 10mm stick. The mounting plate is drilled to allow most popular motors to be mounted: it has 3mm holes on 16mm, 19mm and 25mm pcd. It is supplied as a kit and requires thin CA for assembly. This mount was designed to hold a motor parallel to the mounting surface, for applications like flying wings or pusher prop applications. It is manufactured from strong 2.5mm thick aluminum sheet stock, and has a black painted finish.

The hole pattern on the mount is the standard 19mm x 16mm spacing found on most 22 and 25mm motors. The mount include 3 socket head cap M3 screws that measure 6mm long.

The mount weighs only 3.5 grams by itself, and with the 4 screws, it weighs 4.4 grams. The hole spacing on the back of the mount measures 16mm center to center on the vertical pair of holes, and 19mm center to center on the horizontal pair of holes. With this standard hole spacing, the Scorpion Stick mount will not only fit the Scorpion Motors, it will also fit other motors with a 16 or 19mm hole spacing.

Light weight composite alloy makes this mount very light and very strong. With mount hole distances of 15mm and 16mm, this mount can take a wide variety of motors. The mount is adjustable in length (36mm - 85mm) and can be cut down to size. Weight: 36g. Excellent for mounting outrunners to the firewall of most planes. Motors can be mounted in front or inside the mount (rear or front mount).
