The Micron telephone line will close for the Christmas / New Year break at 4pm on Tuesday 20th December. We will continue to process and dispatch orders over the holiday, but the turn-round time will be longer than usual. We wish all of our customers a happy christmas and a successful 2012.

Micron R/C is now focussing on micro and indoor models. The web site pages will soon change to reflect this and make it easier to compare kits and R/C components. Flight Line PlansTM : Vintage

Flight Line Plans are a well-respected producer of electric R/C and free flight aeroplane plans. Designs are available in several categories: Micro Models, Models for AR6400, SmartDarts, Flying Wings, Sports Aerobatic, Vintage and Trainers. Flight Line Plans also provide kit packs for some of the micron designs - these comprise materials, additional drawings and a cutting template. Some designs are available as complete kits.


 Flight Line Plans Whisp

Overview:

The Whisp design was inspired by the rubber powered Wakefield models from earlier years and brought up to date with a brushless motor and LiPo power.

The construction is strong, yet light for the size and therefore offers the possibility of a fast rate of climb and extended duration flights from limited motor runs. If you haven't tried this method of building a fuselage previously, you'll find it both challenging and rewarding.

Why the name?
'Whisp' is an acronym for Warren Hill Salisbury Plain - one of the flying sites licensed to the Test Valley Flying Club - where Paul and Gordon can be regularly seen flying one or more of their designs.
