Flight Line Plans are a well-respected producer of electric R/C and free flight aeroplane plans. Designs are available in several categories: Micro Models, Models for AR6400, SmartDarts, Flying Wings, Sports Aerobatic, Vintage and Trainers. Flight Line Plans also provide kit packs for some of the micron designs - these comprise materials, additional drawings and a cutting template. Some designs are available as complete kits.
These electric free-flight models are intended for indoor flying or outside flight in calm conditions. there are nine plan designs ranging from starter models through to cartoon scale types, including FLP's renditions of the Miles Sparrowhawk and Bird Dawg. They are all 9"-15" ish span and usually of composite depron and balsa construction built quickly from the fully detailed plans. Colouring can be applied using acrylic paints or marker pens.
Most models use a common flight package of 7mm 3.3ohm pager motor, GWS 2.50.8 prop, 50mAh single cell LiPo and EPC - Flight Line Plans Electronic Profile Controller. All components are available wired ready to go.
Construction is mostly from thin depron with colouring applied using thinned acrylic paint or poster pens.
