Molex Picoblade Connectors and Leads
Print version
Plugs/Sockets | Battery Leads
The Molex PicoBlade 1.25mm pin space 3 pin connector is used on Futaba, Walkera and DT Rx34 micro receivers. The 2 pin version of this connector is used as a single cell LiPo battery connection on E-flite and Parkzone micro models, Spektrum AR6400 and usually referred to as a 'UM' (Ultra Micro) connector.
The connectors and leads shown below are either from Molex or the physically identical part from Multicomp.
Leads using this connector should be used with care: wires tend to be thin and the small grip area of the crimp will result in failure of the joint if excessive force is used to remove a connector. DO NOT tug on the wires to remove a plug, use tweezers to lever the connector shell out of the socket.
Plugs/Sockets
A 5 pack of connector shell and crimp terminals to make a plug compatible with the 1.25mm pin spacing sockets as used for:
A 5 pack of sockets compatible with the 1.25mm pin spacing plugs as used for:
The sockets are intended for through-hole PCB mounting and will require solder attachment of leads. The lightweight PTFE coated wire is ideal for making servo leads.
Battery Leads
A 50mm lead with socket which mates with the 1.25mm pin space connector on a Vapor 70mAh, Blade mCX 110mAh and Kyosho Minium LiPo cells. Can be used for charging or using the LiPo to power a non Parkzone receiver.
An adapter lead to allow you to charge multiple 'UM' single cell LiPo - e.g. Vapor 70mAh or Blade mCX 110mAh LiPo cells on a standard LiPo charger. Two versions of the adapter are available with 2 or 3 LiPo sockets wired to a 2S or 3S JST-XH balance connector. Plug the JST-XH into your balancer or charger/balancer and the red/black charge leads into the charge ports, then connect your Vapor or Blade mCX batteries and charge them in series.
