The Micron telephone line will close for the Christmas / New Year break at 4pm on Tuesday 20th December. We will continue to process and dispatch orders over the holiday, but the turn-round time will be longer than usual. We wish all of our customers a happy christmas and a successful 2012.

Micron R/C is now focussing on micro and indoor models. The web site pages will soon change to reflect this and make it easier to compare kits and R/C components. Blue Arrow Brushed ESC

The Blue Arrow range of low cost speed controllers are designed for use in indoor or park flyer models with brushed motors. The higher power controllers are also suitable for Speed 400 power models and boats with '500' or '550' type motors.

All controllers feature safe power on, requiring the throttle to be set to minimum before the motor will start. Throttle up has a 'soft start' to be gentle on gearboxes and 1024 step throttle resolution to give a very smooth response. They do not have a brake - the motor shaft can free-wheel when power is removed.

The controllers are suitable for 5-8 cell NiCd/NiMH, 2 cell and 3 cell LiPo batteries. The battery type is fixed and must be selected at purchase time:

B 2 cell LiPo 6V
C 3 cell LiPo 9V

All controllers come with universal JR/Hitec/Futaba connectors and provide a 1A BEC for powering your receiver and servos. The 5A controller is fitted with red JST power connectors on both battery and motor leads. The higher power controllers have bare ended wires for you to fit your favourite battery and motor connectors.
