The Micron telephone line will close for the Christmas / New Year break at 4pm on Tuesday 20th December. We will continue to process and dispatch orders over the holiday, but the turn-round time will be longer than usual. We wish all of our customers a happy christmas and a successful 2012.

Micron R/C is now focussing on micro and indoor models. The web site pages will soon change to reflect this and make it easier to compare kits and R/C components. We are having a sale of all products which do not fit within the new product range and these are available, while stocks last, at discounted prices.

About Micron R/C

Micron R/C is a U.K. based company specialising in kits and accessories for small aircraft models. By 'small' we mean anything from less than 3gm flying weight to 150gm.

Micron was founded in 1973 by Terry Tippett. Micron was one of the (if not the) first UK companies to produce afforable digital proportional radio control. Since Terry's retirement, the company has undergone a number of changes to broaden its appeal to radio modellers.

The major Micron theme will always be kit building: electronic, motor and model. As development time permits, we will be releasing new electronic kits - receivers and accessories. We stock kits from Flight Line Plans Mountain Models Radical R/C ParkScale Models and Stevens Aero. The model browser page contains thumbnail images and brief descriptions of all the model kits we stock.
